This cemetery is located on County Road 50W in Grass Township. There are two cemeteries near one another with this cemetery being the one north of County Road 750 N This cemetery has also been known as the Powell Cemetery and simply the Centerville Cem. There is a lane leading to it and the cemetery is maintained. The cemetery was read by Kris Manley in November 1985 and is in the Spencer Co., Cemetery book at the Boonville Library, Warrick Co., IN

According to the Spencer County Cemetery Books it is the Beasley Cemetery - Centerville; aka the Powell Cemetery and the Centerville Cemetery (Vol 1 & 4). It is located in Grass Township. The cemetery is maintained, but at the present time it is covered with leaves. Numerous unmarked or NO longer marked graves, especially near the back part of the cemetery.
Driving directions: From Hwy 66 near Rockport IN, go north on Hwy 231 (the new divided hwy) to Hwy 70 (aka 800 N). Turn left on Hwy 70, cross the railroads tracks and continue until the road "Ts" or ends at the Old State Road (aka 50W) Turn left go past a barn and house on left. The lane leading to the cemetery is on the right just past the driveway of the house. Driveable by truck or SUV, if by car, best to park and walk up to the cemetery.
